The inspiration of Uderzo.

 

I saw this photograph of an statue of Vercingetorix in France.

It was built in 1865 by Aimé Millet. 

It makes clear where did Uderzo get his drawing style to draw the characters of his comic "Astérix and Obélix" his great creation.
